Renovation and Remodeling Projects

Renovation and remodeling projects generally fall into three main categories of work:

Renovation 101

Pool Remodel Resurfacing

Resurfacing

Pool resurfacing is when the existing surface layer of a pool is replaced with a new surface.

A swimming pool’s appearance is half of its charm. Resurfacing your pool can make it look new again.

Pool refinishing is recommended every 8 to 15 years - as a pool’s surface wears down, making the pool look aged, unclean, or even unsafe.

Signs Your Pool Needs Resurfacing:

  • Rough or uneven texture

  • Cracks in the structure

  • Discoloration or fading

  • Noticeable water loss

Tile and Coping

Coping is the cap on the edge of a swimming pool or spa, and typically lasts between 10 to 15 years.

Replacing the tile on the side of your inground pool is necessary if your tiles are starting to fracture or break off. Replacing it can both improve the appearance of your pool and spa, as well as make it more comfortable, enjoyable, and safe.

Renovating the coping, tile or decking of your pool can make it look brand-new and maintain structural integrity.
